Was There a Rocket Launch in Florida on October 13, 2026?
The reported launch lifted off from Cape Canaveral at 6:33 a.m. EDT.
Yes. The Florida morning reports referred to a real launch: SpaceX’s Falcon 9 carrying the CRS-35 Cargo Dragon lifted off at 6:33 a.m. EDT on October 13, 2026, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission was for an International Space Station resupply run.
This answers the Florida-specific question, not whether a rocket launched somewhere else in the world that day. SpaceX provides the mission, vehicle, site, and launch time; NASA independently confirms the liftoff and its ISS-resupply purpose.
