What Is Joe Buck’s Current ESPN Assignment?
Joe Buck leads ESPN’s Monday Night Football coverage and also calls selected MLB broadcasts during the 2026 season.
Joe Buck’s current primary ESPN assignment is play-by-play for Monday Night Football, working with Troy Aikman and Lisa Salters. His ESPN work also extends to baseball: the network’s 2026 MLB commentator announcement includes Buck for selected MLB broadcasts. Football is his listed main assignment, while his MLB role covers select games rather than every ESPN baseball broadcast.
